During its history, it has managed brands such as Esso, Petrobras, Spacio1, Lubrax and Chevron, of which the last four are still in force.
Following a sale process that materialized in March 2024, Esmax was acquired by Aramco, one of the world’s largest energy companies and a leader in the global oil industry. This company, based in Saudi Arabia, chose Esmax to take its first steps in the Chilean and South American markets, which initiated a rebranding process for its service stations and convenience stores, which began to migrate to the Aramco and aStop brands, respectively.
This milestone translates into a strong impetus for the development of a new value proposition and experience for its customers, which is materialized through a solid and continuously growing network of stores throughout the country. At the same time, Esmax continues to strongly develop its B2B and Lubricants business lines, responding closely and in a customized way to the needs of its customers.
Throughout its history, Esmax has built a solid presence throughout the country, highlighting the consolidation of its leadership in certain areas, such as the Los Lagos region, which has become a strategic focus for the development of the company’s B2B business. In particular, Esmax has focused on the delivery of bunkering services for the aquaculture industry on land, ports and pontoons, operating in a safe and reliable manner.
