Innovex SpA, the provider of technologies for online and remote control and monitoring of environmental and oceanographic parameters in aquaculture, announced its participation in the next edition of AquaSur Tech 2025. The event, which will bring together the main actors of the aquaculture industry in the Magallanes region, will be held on March 26 and 27 at the Dreams Hotel in Punta Arenas. At its Stand 24, Innovex will receive visitors interested in learning about its technological innovations, designed to promote a more sustainable and efficient aquaculture. The general manager of the company, Patricio Catalán Mora, and the head of the Seawater Monitoring Area, Jonathan Álvarez, will be present to share the latest news of the company. Among the solutions that will be exhibited are the company’s renowned advanced sensors for measuring environmental and oceanographic parameters in the sea, underwater buoys that provide accurate data for better decision making, and comprehensive solutions for monitoring water consumption and quality in fish farms. Patricio Catalán extended a cordial invitation to attendees, stating that “we look forward to seeing you at our stand to explore how our technologies not only optimize production processes, but also contribute to reducing environmental impact and promote a more planet-friendly aquaculture”. Energy efficience Among the innovations that Innovex will promote during the international fair is its new energy monitoring service, developed in conjunction with its spin off, Marine Spark, focused on reducing diesel consumption and optimizing energy use in farming centers. Patricio Catalán explained that this service makes it possible “to detect whether diesel consumption is efficient in relation to energy consumption or whether there are inefficiencies in energy delivery. Everything starts with measurement, and that is what we are implementing with our clients”. Innovex’s approach covers 12 variables related to operational aspects such as photoperiod, feeding, habitability, mitigation systems and oxygenation. This detailed data collection allows the design of customized solutions for each farm, contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint and the fulfillment of the industry’s environmental commitments. The service includes the installation of sensors that relate fossil fuel consumption to energy consumption, providing a complete picture for efficient resource management. “We are closing the loop by implementing both fuel and energy sensors. This allows companies to optimize their operations and decrease their carbon footprint,” Catalán noted. AquaSur Tech 2025 is consolidating itself as a key platform for regional development, addressing strategic issues such as sustainability, renewable energy and collaboration between industry players. Innovex invites all attendees to visit its Stand 24 to explore how its technologies are transforming the future of aquaculture, promoting a more sustainable and efficient growth.
